When I was a child, I was told it that iodine was added to the salt to avoid this illnesses called “bocio” that affected the throat. It seems that in the past lots of Ecuadorians suffered from that illness and iodine prevented people from contracting that illness.

Brandon, I appreciate your analysis of politics in the USA. While I disagree with some of the actions President Trump has taken in the past, I believe he genuinely cares about this beautiful country. I am from Loja, and this country has provided me with opportunities I never had in my hometown. Through this, I have grown to love the United States and vote for those who care about its people. My son and I are voting for President Trump, me the third time, my son second time, and we are not ashamed of our decision. It is concerning how the media manipulates information, and it is unfortunate that we often fall for it. By the way, I also have a son named Brandon. First time I jumped on a motorcycle, i crashed it into my uncle's truck. 2nd time, i crashed it into the side of our house. Yeara later, i could keep pace with my friend who was 8th in the state in motocross. One thing that never changed, crashing. It comes with riding. Get a good pair of gloves and ALWAYS wear them when you ride. That is the one piece of gear i never rode without no matter what. Also, ankle/lower leg injuries are quite common because people are in denial and trying not to fall when it is already to late. Feet on pegs, stand up (pushes you away from bike) and step off the bike, let it fall, that's what it is made for. Soft ground and stationary, practice dumping bike on its side and stepping away. Don't give a crap about messing up bike, if it can't handle that, mod it until it can. Not giving a crap about your bike and dumping it when you need to can save you some serious injuries. Btw, I'm jealous! You're living the dream man!!

My goto for spiritual views is Bob the Bhudist. I am old school enough to have thought about this and reached conclusions, vs adopting the views of others. Bob laughed at the idea of an objective reality. The nature of Trump/Biden vs Trump/Harris struggle is the difference in reality. Joe was still in the reality of his youth, my youth.
